| BACKGROUND |
Robert Grundmann was born in Hamburg, Germany, and is the son of Alexander
and Claudia Grundmann. Alexander Grundmann is exec in middle management
of Saeder-Krupp directely in Hamburg. Robert lived with his parents in
Hamburg, before he "went to live his life" with 20 years. His
parents made a good education possible and he showed talent and versatility;
he got his Abitur in Hamburg with 17 years (he skipped 11th form) and
started an engineering course of study (subsidiary subject of philosophy),
but dropped out of university. His father occasionally had to work in
other countries and at some opportunites Robert could accompany him; among
others, to the UCAS, CAS and a few eastern european and near eastern countries.
He has a younger brother, Thorsten, who is 5 years younger than him and
did not "goblinize" and is a human.
Robert goblinized with 13 years but had the "luck" that the
signs of his race are not really visible in phenotype.
The ties to his family are rather loose; he keeps contacts with his parents,
but both of them despise the choice he has made, to venture out into the
world to live his life in a away unimaginable by them – actually
even unimaginable by himself, as the future supposedly will show. His
parents wanted (and still want) a career with Saeder-Krupp for him; his
father tried to "groom" him into his successor as far as he
could but the corporate way of life was nothing for Robert. He saw all
the stress and pressure his parents were subject to, as well as he also
was target of the "peers" trying to be the biggest, baddest
tough guy on the block. Being an orc does not help at all. So he sought
out other living styles, figuring that his brother will follow his father's
steps.
He was attracted to vehicles since young. Driving, flying, generally
moving fast or higher than a human was a thrill. It was only natural he
longed not to just sit and drive a car, but to become one. He feels no
qualms about the vehice control rig he installed. All the opposite he
enjoys being jacked in and surpassing mere human limitations.

| APPEARANCE |
What does your character look like?
1.76m tall orc with shoulder length dark blonde hairs and brown eyes.
Not as brute as orcs are believed to be, he is of strong build for a human
(which he is not). He has a scar on his left shoulder from a bar brawl,
but no other obvious distinguishing features, except maybe his rigging
jack in the back of his neck at the base of his skull and the datajack
behind his right ear.
What does your character dress like?
Usually rather comfortable with BlackJeans and t-shirts; although he often
wears suits when dealing with customers and runs and so forth. The t-shrirts
usually sport a band logo and motif, witty comments or in-jokes (like
"What weighs half a ton, is armored and barks? A GM Doberman").
Does your character have physical quirks?
He is left-handed, if that counts.

| Skills, Attributes and Ressources |
Where did your character learn their Active Skills?
He learned how to drive since his youth (no, not physical; video games)
and was able to become a really good driver (even if his current car cannot
really win a race). In a similar way he learned how to operate aircraft.
He took a course and got his flying permit when he reached 18 years and
is licensed in the UCAS, too. He uses his skill and equipment as a courier
service, land and airborne.
Where did your character learn their Knowledge Skills?
His knowledge in Engineering and Philosophy came from his course of study;
learning corporate politics was easy, given his upbringing. Regarding
magic, there is a thaumaturgical faculty at the university of Hamburg
and he had a buddy there, who enlightened him about the way the media
portray magic and how it really is. But they lost contact over the years.
Getting to know how to navigate was only natural, as it helped both his
driving and flying. A few knacks were also taught at his flight school.
Knowing where to get replacement parts cheap was also helpful, so he got
intimate knowledge of Seattles "junkyards". How the police works
... TV, common sense, curiosity and a few encounters (without leaving
a mark on his record; rather tickets for speeding and parking at the wrong
places). Re: Languages: Obvious.
Where did your character get his goodies?
He invests all his money, christmas and birthday presents as well as a
lottery win into his toys. (Well, all that did not go into his livings.)
His parents "lost" much money to the VCR, Roadmaster and WK-2.
He got his VCR installed with 17 and it is partly
sponsored by Saeder-Krupp; in return he ran errants for them for three
years. All money he earns beyond the thousand goes into paying his toys
and implants back. But in any case, his 8 toys are a part of him and he
would not want to part from them. (Well, so he says. But there is always
the fear not to be able to pay the monthly cost.)
Where does your character live?
Usually in Downtown, Seattle in a 3-Room-Flat high above the roofs of
the commoners. He also has a two-room flat in Snohomish with helipad and
hangar. If hideouts count, he also has a small room in tacoma to hide.

No wetwork. No violence as goal. No unnecessary violence. No torture in
any way. Stay as legal as possible. No kidnappings (read: against will).
He prefers guarding, locating, object retrieval, investigations, courier
services.
Does your character have goals?
Becoming inedpendant (of corporate culture or similar and his parents)
and "self-sustaining" => Successful freelancer || sportsdriver
|| ...
Does your character have personal beliefs?
He believes in freedom and the importance of one's own decisions. (Especially,
that one's own decisions are made freely.) He does not believe in deic
entities. If there is something "extranatural" or "superphysical",
whatev, it might be Karma. But w/o the reincarnation-part.
Does your character have personality quirks?
He tends to keep his surroundings orderly and clean, although that
is far from an OCD. Except when on runs, he keeps a picture fo his parents

He feels bad about peope, who he damages or are damaged in the course
of his actions. He is not worried about property or artificial limitations
like borders. He acknowledges the fact, that his actions are in a strict
sense illegal, but he tends to ignore that – at least he tries to. |
